Does she like you enough?

There’s a weird issue that separates men and women in dating: the trigger that causes one or the other to end the relationship.  Most relationship experts will tell you that the biggest triggers to a breakup are:

  1. Lying
  2. Cheating
  3. Lack of attention
  4. Moving too fast/too slow
  5. Loss of attraction

These are all incorrect.  Not a single one of these items is a trigger.  The only trigger that causes a relationship to end is when one person or the other has too low of a desire grade towards the other person, and they want to move on.

The list of 5 items above can all affect the desire grade of a person in a relationship, causing it to fall below their minimum acceptable level before a breakup, but they aren’t the actual reason for a breakup.

The issue that separates men from women in terms of breakup rules is simple: men break up when women fall below a B desire grade (in terms of the level of a desire a man has for a woman), women breakup when the man hits the F stage.  A woman can show a D desire grade towards a man and still keep him around.  A man won’t show a C desire grade for a woman and keep her around.

Why do women keep men around that they have no desire for?  It could be loneliness.  It might be that they feel society doesn’t allow them to ask men out on dates and look for their next boyfriend or husband.  It might be that the man provides just enough comfort or entertainment that the woman feels like she can casually look around for the next best thing without getting rid of someone who at least gives her a little bit of attention to her life.  But when that next best thing comes around, the guy she has C or D level desire for is toast.

Because of this, it is very important for a man to continue to judge his girlfriends’ desire grade level towards him, constantly.  If he sees signs that she’s fallen below a B- grade, it is wiser to end the relationship now, even if you still have a A+ desire grade towards her.  Once a woman’s desire grade for you falls into C+ or lower territory, it will be near impossible to get it back up.

If your desire grade towards her is an A, and hers towards you is a B, you’re in good shape.  Even if you’re at a B and she’s at an A level, it’s still perfect!  You may never be equal in desire grade towards each other, but it is vitally important that you don’t waste your time, money and future happiness by continuing to date a woman who is just keeping you around for kicks, or because she’s lazy, or that she’s afraid to be alone.  You’re better than that, right?
